Collagen is a naturally occurring protein found in bones, cartilage, and skin. It is distinct from other proteins due to its high concentrations of the amino acids glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline.
Unlike other types of protein, such as whey or casein, collagen is ideally taken before training. Mix 15 grams (2 scoops) of Collagen Gold with 200-250 ml of water or another beverage, around 45 minutes prior to exercise.
