Solid energy bars contain oats and rice. Although they may look like a bar, feel like a bar and taste like a bar, they are definitely not your average energy bar. They contain only what you really need and nothing you don’t need. The glucose-fructose mix in the bar ensures optimal sugar uptake during exercise.

Each Solid 160 serving contains 40 grams of carbohydrates, spread across two bite-size bars containing 20 grams of carbohydrates each. In other words, you can decide for yourself whether you wish to have the whole thing in one go or save half a serving for later.

Solid energy bars are not a replacement for Maurten’s Hydrogel drinks and gels, but are the perfect supplement. The bars provide extra energy (from carbohydrates) before, during or after a training session, race or match.

Solid is the first Maurten product that does not contain the groundbreaking Hydrogel technology. As a result, Maurten’s Solid 160 is allowed to carry the Informed Sport certification mark, which is the English version of the Dutch NZVT mark, which is also recognised by the Dutch Anti-Doping Authority.
